Hey everyone!!! This is my FIRST BLOG! Yay! I wanted to make sure everyone who follows our face book page and website know who is behind it all, in case some day it’s YOU coming in to find the dress of your dreams. First of all, I want to point out I’m not a writer, nor am I a grammar expert! This blog is for fun and to let my true self shine thru as I am writing this to you all:) So I’ll start with my name…..Taryn.
HI!!! I am a born and raised Montana girl, have lived here my whole life and I love it! I went to HS in Shepherd, MT and went on to study at MSU-Billings to achieve a bachelors degree in Public Relations. I am 28 years old. Bla bla bla this is the boring stuff. I LOVE WEDDINGS and I’m not married:) I LOVE everything that has to do with a healthy, fun, amazing commitment that is shared between two people…basically I follow 1st Corinthians chapter 13: 4-8 to live by when looking for a mate. Yes, I have him but we aren’t married. Can you imagine working in a bridal boutique and not being married yet? It’s tough, and he feels the pressure ? His name is Levi, we have two dogs together, Thor (black lab) and Winston (golden) and they’re our babies. For a while at least!
How did Belle en Blanc come about? This is the main question I get asked on a daily basis. Well, my amazing sister and best friend, Nadia, is getting married September 6th and we went dress shopping together. I officially fell in love with the idea of helping brides find their dream gown and being a part of that life changing experience. What was Billings missing I thought to myself…..and BOOM, there it was. A bridal boutique with that amazing atmosphere and beautiful experience. My dad always told me ” you will never be fully happy until you work for yourself” so I put everything together and here I am. After the idea in September of 2013 came about, I put hours of hard work into it and opened my doors February 1st, 2014. So so fast! My first 4 and a half months have been AMAZING. All of the expectations are being exceeded and I couldn’t be happier. I truly love what I do and being a part of “saying yes to a dress” is so rewarding. I have gotten to know some amazing women and even gained some friendships that I wouldn’t have otherwise. My vision has came true and I can’t wait for the years to come.
